reimagined vintage. until recently this stunning setting was a gypsy-style, Victorian era brooch, which I've transformed into a statement ring. Could easily be an engagement ring or an everyday ring.

vintage 15ct yellow gold setting with a new 14k gold band.

although this ring is a full-finger ring, it is hollow and incredibly lightweight, which makes it easy to wear

unfortunately the band is attached directly atop the 15ct marking

the underside of the ring's setting has scratch marks and discoloration present from the process of transforming the setting from a brooch to a ring

When transforming the setting from a brooch to a ring, the brooch's pin was removed from the back of the setting and you can see that there are still small raised areas of gold where the pin was once attached

in the process of transforming this brooch into a ring the 15ct marking was mostly lost.
